Dublin / Mary Meledy
« on: Monday 31 July 23 13:37 BST (UK)  »
Hi all. looking for any info to do with Mary Meledy who appears as a confectioner in 4 Arran Quay from the years 1814-1837. I'm trying to figure out if she is related to my family but cant seem to find any birth/death/marriage record.

The only one that might be her after 1837 is a Mary Mulledy in Dean Street in the 1851 census. other than that i can find nothing.

Thanks :)

Just looking over my stuff too, in 1861 Susannah appears in the census (as Susannah Taylor) along with her child in Rathbone street, this is the same street as 1841/1851 Nicholas/Susannah censuses

thank you heywood for that info :)

Yes I have info on Nicholas/Susanna and think it may make sense that its the same family although that James Moizer is consistently noted as a "wheelwright" as opposed to whatever is written on Susanna's marriage cert so im not sure :-\

Hi all looking for help finding information on Susannah Moizer/Motzer/etc who was born circa 1840 and married Samuel Taylor in 1859 (picture below) in St. Nicholas Church, Liverpool

Susannah notes her father as James Moizer and a shipsmith ??? .

When searching for a birth/census record of her pre marriage i cant seem to find any record of a James Moizer :-\

There is one Moizer family in liverpool with a daughter Susannah but her parents are Nicholas and Susan :-\ so im a bit stumped. im unfamilar with UK records so if anyone has any advice it would be appreciated. thank you :)

Hi, trying to figure out the townland in this birth record

Birth of Alice Sullivan, top of page, mother Abby Sullivan
https://www.rootschat.com/links/01s1q/

i think it may be Caherveelane? I'm trying to figure out if the O'Sullivans there are connected to this record.

I think the images are owned by Dun Laoghaire Heritage and Genealogy centre as opposed to the NLI, so RootsIreland may not be able to display an image :) perhaps you could contact the centre?
