1905 Liverpool John Simpson 27 Letitia Ayre 23 Widow father Ralph Smith occ Carter Witnesses for both with surname Southern Father of John Simpson not given.

So confusing.

I wonder if John Simpson was her father. I have record of Evelyn Agar who married Thomas Rimmer 28/09/1927 Bootle Liverpool so she used surname Agar perhaps she did not know about her true biological father

More confusing Thomas and Evelyn had 9 children one of these was ( can not enter his christian name as he may still be living ) SQ 26/06/1940 Mothers maiden name Ager 79 Albert Road Southport Rimmer surname crossed out ( he was adopted ) by Joseph Fletcher and LETITIA Fletcher his grandmother According to 1900 Marriage Letitia was age 18 so in 1940 she would have been age 58. Such a mixed up family.
