Census Lookup and Resource Requests / missing after 1881 census

Hi I have tried to find these 2 people after 1881 but not having any luck.

James Edward Bristow b 1852 Peterborough
Catherine Elizabeth Edney Bristow b 1853 St Pancras

1881 census has them living in Newbury Berkshire.

They married in 1881 in Islington.

Hoping someone else can find them.

Lancashire Lookup Requests / why would he go to Ireland

Our 3xgt grandfather born 1795 in Pendle, child born 1821 and on baptism entry his occupation given as carder. 3 children born Ireland, 1827, 1829 and 1832 baptisms are in Belfast.

Probably back in Lancashire mid 1830's as one childs death is recorded.

On 1841 occupation given as carder again, wondering why he would have gone to Ireland, any thoughts please?

Technical Help / What's going on????

Have tried several times to get a posting with attachment. Keep getting rejected. Originally because of file size the cos it was duplicate even tho hadn't been posted. Then because it timed out. Now the system already has an attachment with the same name.

Help required please.

Armed Forces / Help to identify regiment and date, please.

This is my husband's grandfather, Cyril Egerton Webb, 1883 - 1969. Any help in identifying the uniform, where it was taken and the date would be appreciated.

It is possible that this was taken in South Africa during one of the Boer Wars since he was quite proud of serving with Baden Powell.
