Hi All hope you are keeping safe and well out there. Looking for a bit of advice could someone tell me what information I might glean from ordering a full cert for a marriage in 1907? I have a short copy cert from many years ago it gives the parents names but no more information about them at all would there be more if I ordered a full one? I am stuck on this man for many many years and would love to make a bit of progress with him. thanks all

Hi All hope you are all staying well and safe out there in Roots land. I am looking for help in possibly identifying this uniform/regiment/place taken. It is my Great Grandfather and other than his name and place of birth and wifes name I really know no more about him he was born in Liverpool but was living in Ireland when WW1 broke out and would have been about 45 at that time any help or suggestions on the photo would be very gratefully received thanks

Morning all asking for your knowledge here on a question I found my Great grandads  meagre military papers they do give date of joining army number and regiment, can one find out where a regiment or a soldier may have been at any given time while in the forces having this information? ? thanks in anticipation

Hi all you lovely roots chatters once again, can anyone tel me if there is a way to find out parents names before having to purchase a birth cert from UK they are so expensive!, I have a possible birth record for someone I have been trying to track down for many years but have tried finding this man on the census and nothing fits my information? thanks in anticipation of your suggestions as always

i wonder could someone please tell me if I find a possible match for a marraige and all the details on the site dont match exactly is it likely i have the wrong match? in this case the year and quarter matches the digital folder matches but not the page number doesnt? i was on family search.org thanks
