I am trying to contact any member of this family so that I can return to them an envelope containing lettters ,Family trees etc connected with their family.when my husband died last year I found an envelope full of original lettters going back to 1840s ....some letters from Windsor Castle. This envelope has an address on the back of Glennie ,Waterlooville and was sent in 1996 At the time my husband had been researching the one and only name on our nearest church War Memorial...Robert Alexander Wallis Wilson and somehow he was sent all the wonderful papers which I would like to return to the family.
Any help would be appreciated

I am wondering where this building might have been or still is.THere are many place with the name Bray .Could it be New Lodge which is opposite Braywood House where the old churchb was.Any ideas

These names are in my ancestral tree. The Nightingales were farmers and hop farmers in the area.I have done a lot of research on the Nightingales and have found some interesting stories. My gggrandfather was a John Nightingale b. 1700 the son of John and Jane Nightingale of Sandhurst.
Woukd love to share research with others .

That's interesting because my gggrandfather returned to St Oeter Port to visit his family with his Channel Island wife in the 1840s and died there. The record office when I went on a visit only had his death recorded but no certificate.Hus wife returned to London with young son.
