Eleanor Coole b 1842, Bristol, married Alfred Blakeney in 1871.(have marriage cert)She had 4 children, I think Kate Eleanor was Ruth,another mistake on the census, and she married Frederick Richard Gill in 1894. The other 2 girls married in 1907/1912. William I think died early part of the 20th century. But I do not know what happened to their mother after 1901, if she had remarried or when she died. Have Lillie Blakeney's marriage cert and Eleanor  Blakeney is not on it , brother and sister as witnesses. Thanks for any futher advice   helina

Have been trying to find what happened to Eleanor Blakeney, maiden name Coole, b 1848 Bristol. A widow on the 1901 census, living in Bristol with her son William and 2 daughters, Lillie and Rosanna. Being searching the BMDs for records of marriages and deaths with no luck.  Can anybody tell me what to do next, have no family members to ask. Thank you in advance.  helina

Thanks for the replies,  I searched the full BMDs on ancestry, not FreeBMD or the partial BMD on ancestry. The 2 records I cannot find are:
Remarriage/death of Eleanor Blakeney (formerly Coole) b 1848, Bristol. Widow on the 1901 census living in Bristol with 1 son, William, and 2 daughters, Lillie and Rosanna.

Marriage/death of Matilda Coole, b 1854, Bristol. Single on the 1901 census, living in Bristol. Parents still alive John and Eleanor Coole.

Have looked twice though the BMDs, but may of missed something.

There are 2 marriages for Matilda, one in 1902 which certificate I ordered, wrong, the other in 1910 which I will have to order but as I have recently paid out for 2 other wrong certificates I want to delete all other avenues.

I have found contacting your local (or the area you require) family history society very helpful. For a reasonable charge they will look up a parish record for you.  helina

Trying to find any information on Matilda Coole, b 1854, Bristol. She was still single on the 1901 census. I have looked though the BMDs on ancestry up to 1954 with no luck. Did find 2 marriages, sent away for one, wrong. Her parents were John Coole 1804-1879, Bristol, and Eleanor Coole (formerly Beynon) 1809-1907. Any advice/information would be appreciated.    helina
