Lincolnshire Lookup Requests / HATFIELD & OLIVER Grantham, Lincs Marriage look up please

On the IGI there is  a extracted record of a marriage (M011241). Is it possible that someone  could provide me with more information regarding this marriage and  their Parents, witnesses etc.

Elizabeth Oliver   15 June 1817 Grantham, Lincoln.

I have information from the 1841 census on onwards regarding Elizabeth & their children Living in Snenton, Nottingham.
Thomas died 1838 /1839 Nottingham.

Technical Help / Is laptop beyond repair

I have tried to put myAcer laptop on this pm and get nothing but a black screen.
It closed down fine when last used. I can see the power and battery lights are at full power. The fan is switching on & off within a few secondsvery quiet (this was cleaned a few weeks ago after overheating problems. The Screen is black and no matter which buttons are pressed nothing happens.

Is there any way I can get it to boot up ?
How do I retrieve the data / files ?
Does this mean I need to get a new one ? This laptop is two years old but has been well used by the whole family.

any replies welcome

Surrey Lookup Requests / COCKERTON christening 1806

I have found a entry on the IGI C037801 Christening of William Cockerton, Father is George Cockerton, Mother is Sarah. Can any one verify if there is other infomation given in the Parish Register i.e. Mothers maiden name or other information.

I would be interested also to know if the couple did not originate from Surrey and if fathers occupation was mentioned.

Anyone able to help with information regarding the Beckitt (various spellings) family who originated from Barlow, Derbyshire.

Annie Beckitt born 1847 at Barlow Married Joseph Draycott in the late 1860's.
On the 1881 census Mother of Annie is living with the family at Elm terrace, Pilsley.
Mother is named as Ellen Beckitt born 1825, Barlow, Derbyshire (widower).

Can anyone find the Beckitt family on the censuses before 1871 ?

Please can anyone offer further information on Mary Ward born 1839 at Somercotes, Derbyshire and her family.
According to her marriage cert in 1863 Mary married Peter Henstock. Mary's father is named as George Ward.

I can see a family that fits in the 1841 census George Ward (father) Ann Ward (mother) and Mary Ward aged one yr. All living at Somercotes.  Census ref--Alfreton, Derbyshire. Enumeration district 14, folio 39, page 7
I have looked for a marriage for George & Ann but cannot find them on the IGI.

If anyone would be able to tell me Ann's maiden name or any further information regarding the Ward family.  Thank you Teresa

Nottinghamshire Lookup Requests / Looking for Harry COCKERTON 1901 census

Can anyone see Harry Cockerton on the 1901 census. He was born c1879 Nottingham. Parents Henry (deceased) Sarah (Living) COCKERTON.

In 1881 he is with his family on Mayfield Grove, Nottingham.
1n 1911 there is a prisoner in Bagthorpe Prison with the same name.

Nottinghamshire Lookup Requests / Sarah A KNIGHT census & BMD

Please could someone look up Sarah A. Knight born c1857 at Kirkby, Notts.

Parents George born 1813 Eaton and Mary born 1825 Worksop.

I can find them on the1871 census at Annesley. (class rg10,folio 3476.folio120,pge7)
 I have been unable to find Sarah after 1871.

 George & Mary were still living until the early 1900's. Living at the kennels ? Annesley Hall. George was a Gardener

I wonder if  she married or unfortunately  died?
