Lancashire Lookup Requests / Re: Lancashire look up please Reuben & Enoch Beeley
« on: Wednesday 26 January 05 12:31 GMT (UK)  »
:) Thank you once again Nicky.
Yes I think some how the names of Enoch and Ernest have gotten mixed up on the 1901Cen'. As with Beeley & Bailey, also You putting Margaret Jane and  Kathy putting Margaret Sara on the 1881 cen' ( I'm not complaining here by the way). I know just how hard it can be reading old writing. The name by the way Is Margaret Jane, she was my Granddads sister and they both moved to Birmingham, which seems to have been after Enoch remarried c 1908 . Birmingham was where John W married and where my Dad and myself were born.
So the death record you posted of Margaret Snr is also likely to be correct.
Thank you
Chris P. NZ  :)

:) Thank you both for such a quick response.

Nicky I had no census records for Enoch at all.
So any others you may have would be great ( John W was my Granddad ).
I had thought that the Bailey record 1881 was my Enoch but needed proof.
Thank You

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Lancashire look up please Reuben & Enoch Beeley
« on: Wednesday 26 January 05 07:16 GMT (UK)  »
:) I'm trying to link Reuben and Enoch Beeley.

Reuben born Marple Stockport c1849 (father could be Wyatt Beeley).

Enoch born Mottram Cheshire c1856 Father is John Beeley

Both Reuben's and Enoch's families ended up in Dunkenfield. Reuben was witness at Enoch's wedding to Margaret Trotter in 1877

I Have census records from 1871 up to 1901 for Reuben,,
but only
IGI info' and marriage certificate for Enoch (unable to find any 1881 census rec' for Enoch's family).

Any other census records or info' for these two would
be appreciated.
Thank you Chris P NZ  :)

:)Thank you so very much sunflower.
That info' may clear up a mystery. It really is a problem when families kept using the same first names for their children. I hadn't known Reuben had a son called Aaron either.
Thank you again

:) Thank you both for your replies.

Emma, I have the Samuel's (when he was 5yrs) family on the 1851 census
and both Samuel's and Jame's family on the 1881 & 1891 censuses nothing for 1861 or 1871.

I was hoping because Deakin is not uncommon name in B'Ham, that someone else may also be looking for this one . Before actually buying a cert'. I have the info' on the one you quote, but am not sure if it is the right one.
Thank you both again
