Denbighshire / BRYNEGLWYS Parish Register look up -ROBERTS/WILLIAMS

Sorry you can't sleep - hope it cools off soon
Thanks very much for the lookup - only problem is I have my doubts if it is the right Robert Roberts. All the censuses I've found 1851, 1861, 1871 have him born 1809 so seven years earlier is a bit of a stretch. On the other hand in 1881 (after his wife has died) he lists his age as 74 so maybe it could be him.
According to the census info he was at least 13 years older than his wife Sinah (nee Williams). I have my doubts about her too as have located an IGI reference for a Sinah Williams born 1825. Maybe they were further apart in age than either cared to admit!!
I'll keep Edward & Catherine in mind...and thanks for the tip about llgc. I've now sent for Sinah's and Robert's marriage certificate so will see what light that sheds on Robert's father's name.
Don't you just love genealogy - a lot of people had trouble with their memory and dealing with the truth!! Come to think of it times haven't changed much.
