Renfrewshire / MOSSSIDE GREENOCK ROAD

I have a birth at the address 'Mossside,Greenock Road, Paisley in 1904 and a marriage at this same address in 1916.On neither occasion was it the  'home address' of anyone concerned. Can anyone enlighten me as to what was at this address? The marriage was performed after Banns of the 'Primitive Methodist Church'.

Researching family of Patrick Burns and Bridget Madden. Left Tonaphubble 1845 and came to Glasgow with son Thomas (born Tonaphubble 1844). Have information on Scottish descendants but believe other children went from Tonaphubble to America in 1845.Any other information would be appreciated and info exchanged.

Interested in a family Quigg from Kilrea. Henry Quigg married Caroline Fairley from County Down in Glasgow Saint Andrews R.C. Cathedral in 1836. Thereafter the family name changed to Twigg on the baptism of all children and in all Census returns.

Interested in Exchanging information on McAlonan/MacAlonan/McAloney etc. families from around Ballymena in County Antrim to Ayrshire, Renfrewshire and Glasgow in the late 19th. Century. Some emigrated later to Pennsylvania from Glasgow . Furthest back parents are a Samuel McLonan and Jane Gordon married in Ballymena in 1834.

When a census return is given for a Tenement Close, does anyone know if the returns started at the ground floor or the top flat? I am trying to compile a photographic record of existing buildings and would like to identify exact windows /flats.
