Thanks for those Mike, now to work out which are the right ones.

First born child was a daughter named Mary 1802, so that 1772 ones a possibility, the rest are all boys, Joseph 1805, James 1807, John 1808, James 1811 and Thomas 1814, which dosn`t give me much to go on.

I do have the baptisms fo the children, thanks again Mike

They are all scattered in 1851,

Parents John and Mary died 1844 and 1845 ( I have certs)

Mary Ann married George Devenport 1848 (have cert)

Frederick died 1828

Eliza is the one i can`t find in 1851, marries Joseph Mawby in 1857

Harriett seems to have been born Northamptonshire abt 1833 though baptised St Margarets at a later date and is with Mary in 1851 and marries James Bull in 1852 (have cert)

John (my ggrandfather) is an apprentice tailor in 1851 (have all his certs)

William is in the workhouse as Goff in 1851  and marries in 1863 (have cert)

Thomas died in the workhouse 1846 (have certs)

Thanks for the tip on All Saints Open being a Road/Street name, have googled and its still there, is that All Saints church at the end of it?

Now to figure out if Eliza Gough was mine, born abt 1829 Leicester, she didn`t marry til 1857 and was living in Woodboy Street then.

Can anyone find her in 1851 or offer suggestions as to how to work out if Eliza is mine please.
