Thank you Tony, i wasn`t sure that the "Officer from Wales" refered to Thomas Kerry born 1580, even though it is just above his name on Charles Kerry`s pedigree.
I also found a marriage in Smalley for him to Emma Wilmott on Phillimores.

John died 15 Sept 1844 and Mary 19 May 1845, i have the certs.
What Mike and Bunnygirl have found are correct, Thomas died in the workhouse 21 Feb 1846, William was in the workhouse in 1851 under Goff.
I am decended through John Gough Jnr born 1839.

you helped me with these a few years back and i`m still stuggling to find a baptism for John Gough born abt 1802.
John died 15 Sept 1844 and Mary 19 May 1845, i have the certs.

I have John Rogers (1689-1729) and Elizabeth Roberts as parents for Thomas, which reminded me i didn`t have a marriage for this couple, just found it in Philimores,
St Alkmunds Derby
19 Aug 1719 John Rogers & Elizabeth Roberts, both of Horsley
And for Mary Kerry i have Thomas Kerry (1698-1773) and Elizabeth Golling (1690-1772)

Thank you for the offer, i have 2 that i think were born to late for what you have, but as they are both brick walls, here goes,
John Gough born Leicester abt 1802 was a tailor.
John Spencer born Crich Derbyshire abt 1803 was a corn miller in Matlock.
Any help appreciated

Derbyshire Lookup Requests / Duffield parish registers

I am trying to confirm a marriage at Duffield between John Farrington b.1779 and Margaret Clark b, 1774, there is a submitted one on the IGI 25 Sept 1818.
I think these 2 were previously married as they would be in thier 40s, having 2 sons, William 1817 and Henry 1819, both born in Derby
I have found possible previous marriages for both,
John Farrington to Ann Holmes 18 Dec 1802 St Peters Derby, 2 sons born, but both died in infancy.
Job Clarke to Margaret Wakefield 10 Oct 1797 Melbourne Derbyshire, daughter Mary born 1814, which seems a long time after marriage, but there is a Mary Clark on the 1841 census with John and Margaret Farrington.
Would anyone have the parish registers, that could see if it mentions that John and Margaret were previously widowed please
