London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Baptism Look Up - St. Mary's, Marylebone Road
« on: Saturday 12 March 11 15:47 GMT (UK)  »
Hello

I'm wondering if anyone has access to the above parish register. I've found a baptism on the LDS site and unfortunately the Hyde Park FHC does not have the film in stock.

I'm looking to verify, and get the extra information regarding the following baptism:

Thomas STEER
Baptised 03 April 1814
Born 13 March 1814
Father: Thomas Steer
Mother: Mary

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Father: George WRIGHT
Mother: Elizabeth SHONE (this is what I would like to confirm)
Father's Occupation: Collier
Abode: Bryn y Baal

Children:

Maria born about 1859
William born about 1874
Margaret Elizabeth born about 1878
John born about 1881
Jane born about 1883
Thomas George born about 1885
Peter born about 1887
Edith born about 1890
Eleanor born about 1893
Herbert born about 1895
Gwladys born about 1900

If they cannot be found then I will order a birth certificate.

Thanks in advance

Lancashire / Obituaries covering Bolton in 1911
« on: Saturday 06 November 10 18:37 GMT (UK)  »
Hiya

I was wondering what papers would cover a death of a 16 year old girl in Bolton in 1911.

Her name was Agnes DARLINGTON and the GRO ref for the death is 1911 Q4 Bolton,8c 394

I want to find out if it is the same Agnes who was born in Saltney, Flintshire in 1895.

Thanks in advance

Wales / Translation of Wedding Congratulations - Completed with Thanks
« on: Tuesday 02 November 10 14:46 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Guys

Having just found a cousin via A*****y and having access to a number of documents in Welsh I was hoping that some kind welsh speaking soul could provide me with a translation.

I have managed to work out that it is Wedding Congratulations for John Davies, son of John Davies and Rose, second daughter of P. Williams. The marriage took place on the 02 July 1881 in Denbigh but I'd love to have a translation of the full thing. I've typed it as it appears.

Thanks in advance

Ond ha ! mor ddedwydd ydyw bron

Flintshire Lookup Requests / Nercwys Marriage 1862
« on: Monday 11 October 10 21:23 BST (UK)  »
Hi Guys

Does anyone have access to the Nercwys PRs that would cover marriages in 1862. Specifically I'm looking for the marriage of

David DAVIES to Elizabeth OLDFIELD. They were married in Quarter 4 of 1862 and according to northwalesbmd it took place at Nercwys. They lived in Gwernymynydd and David was (unsurprisingly) a miner.

I'd be grateful if anyone could provide more details on the record.

Thanks
