Essex Completed Lookup Requests / Hatfield Broad Oak Essex Birth Look Up BURLES/BURLS 'COMPLETED'

Hi,

I am trying to locate the birth details of Nathan BURLS or sometimes spelt BURLES. I know from census he was born around 1841 in Hatfield Broad Oak, Essex.

Nathan was one of at least eight children born to parents James Burls/Burles and a Charlotte ?. I have not been able to locate a birth registration for any of the children. I have tried many variables.

I have both Nathan's marriage and death certificates but cannot find his birth.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Charlotte,

I mailed you awhile ago about yours and my Collins family from the Baker Street, Enfield area.

I have now received the marriage certificate of Francis Sydney Collins to Doris Williams Burles.  There certainly is a match to your family.

Francis Sydney Collins, age 21, Bachelor, Occ Laborer, Address 14 Walton Street, Enfield, Father WILLIAM COLLINS (deceased) Occ of Father COAL MERCHANT. 
Doris Williams Burles, age 20, Spinster, Occ ---, Address 10 Canton Road, Enfield, Father Joseph Williams, Occ of father Glazier.
The marriage took place on 9th June 1924 at St Andrew's Church, Enfield and was witnessed by JOSEPH ROSKILLY and Kathleen Williams.
On 16th November 1960 the marriage registration was amended to state that Doris' age should of read 22 not 20 as stated.

A little about Francis and Doris.

Francis born 31st January 1903 and Doris born 28 November 1901, lived all their lives in Enfield and raised 15 children (Joseph, Lilian, Albert, George, Jean, Anthony,  John, Barbara, Elsie, Peter, Derek, Victor, David, Terry and Raymond).

Francis died 6th April 1976 and Doris died 14 July 1985.

My interest is in Doris' family really rather than Joseph.  Doris was one of my grandmothers 15 siblings. (Another large family), they certainly didn't have T.V's did they.

I also have a family of Collins from Enfield, Middlesex.
Frances Sidney Collins - born 31 Jan 1903, Enfield, Middlesex.  Parents unknwon at this stage.
Married
Doris Williams/Burles born 28 Nov 1902 Enfield, Middlesex. Doris or Dol as she was known was the eldest of 14 children and sister of my grandmother.
Frances and Doris lived all their lives in Enfield and had a massive 15 children.
