Obviously someone has seen the 1860 marriage certificate to know the date of the nuptials. I could only find a notice of his second marriage in 1865 on TROVE.

Not all teachers, Government or otherwise, were qualified or even well educated.  Just my opinion from years of family history research.

West Australian Biographical Index (WABI) is a highly used resource at the State Library of Western Australia.

Best course of action would be to visit the Lutheran Archives in Adelaide.

If you read the Ships Lists link you will see that Robert JANMAAT  compiled the list from various sources.  He is an excellent researcher and always appreciates further info or corrections.

Sadly many of the excellent SA websites for researching have disappeared.  Used them for many years.

I think the surname is WILEY. Second given name to one of the Rev Robert WILSON's grandchildren. I thought it was an usual given name.

Wivenhoe....I don't know when the Rev Robert WILSON married for the first time however his eldest daughter Rebecca was born c1819. She died in 1893 in South Australia.

His second marriage was in Dromore, Co Tyrone in 1837. I have the newspaper announcement of that marriage.

His second wife was Anastasia SKELTON, my gggrandmother's sister.  I have hand written notes about the family penned by my gggrandfather not long before his death in 1897.

Thank you for your interest.
