hello!
I'm trying to find information for Jane Fisher born abt 1842 in West Deeping. I'm also trying to trace a William Spencer, also of West Deeping born around 1862. Jane Fisher went on to marry a David Spencer born in 1842 in Stilton(?) and I'm trying to link David to William, as in the 1881 census William is a lodger in Eastwood with David, Jane and their family.
Any help is greatly appriciated as the family seem to move all over the place!

Hi there!
I hope this is on the right board! I have a David Spencer from the 1881 Census living in Nottinghamshire born abt 1842. He gives his place of birth as Stitham in Huntingdon. Could this be Stilton? His son Jonh T. was born in Castor in Northamptonshire abt 1863 and the rest of his sons in West Deeping in Lincolnshire. David married Jane Fisher b.1842 from West Deeping. Anyone who can shed any light on David's movements and family would be forever in my debt, I just wish my ancestors had liked one place so much they settled there forever!

this is a bit of a long shot, but worth a try. I have an Ernest Aldred born in 1901 in Ilkeston. Father is Arthur and mother could possibly be Elizabeth, but this is not certain. I'm pretty new to this so even a nudge in the right direction would help!

hi there, i'm loking for info on Bosleys from Reading. My Great-Grandma was Kate Alson (?) Bosley born around 1860 in Reading. I believe her father was Henry, also from Reading. Any other info would be great to help me get over this brick wall!

I'm trying to find details on George Robinson, details on 1881 census give him as born 1835 at Mansfield Woodhouse. he married Rose born 1837 from Worksop and moved to Heanor where thay had at least 3 sons, Arthur, Samuel and John. Any details on either George or Rose would be gratefully received.
