Thanks to all who have  been trying to help with my request re George Knight, the George I am interested in is refered to by my Aunt as her uncle, so I guess I will let it go for now. I have researched the family for years both in England, Canada and the US I will now return to England and have a look for George there.

My aunt was Edith Patricia Knight, born 19 May 1909 at Shaftsbury Dorset England, Her father was Arthur R Knight he was in the Army. The family moved to Canada in 1910. Father died in 1920. Her mother was Ann Gallagher. The family crossed the boarder to the US April 1,1927 and settled in Connecticut, they had been living in Hartland New Bruinswick. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply.     My aunt was  born in Shaftsbury Dorset Eng, the family moved to Canada in 1909, she was a minor, she and her widowed Mother and minor siblings crossed the boarder to the US in 1927, her boarder crossing papers ask for a contact in Canada and she gave "Uncle George Knight, Watford" I think this must be Watford Canada, if there is such a place. She was 17 years old.Perhaps this George is on the census in1927, what do you think?

I am looking for a George Knight living in Watford Ontario Canada in 1927. He is on my Aunt`s boarder crossing paper as her contact in Canada, I would like to learn more about him if he can be found on the census records. Auntie calles him uncle.

I really need help, I am looking for my 2 times great grandfather`s birth record. The only info I Have is that he was born in Limerick. He was 18 when he come to America in 1851 and settled in Connecticut so that means he was born in 1833. I appreciate any help or direction you can give me.
