Dumfriesshire / Re: Richardson/Tweedie

This Tweedie line ties into mine, as well as Kojak's family.  The family reused names so often that it really gets confusing.  I have a Joseph Tweedie b 1856 Lochmaben to John Gibson Tweedie and Phyllis Steele.  That I know of there are three other siblings, Elizabeth b. abt 1843 and William 1851and John b abt 1858.  John Gibson Tweedie's parents were James Tweedie and Bette Gibson, and Phyllis Steele's parents were Joseph Steele and Jean Clinkscails.

I gave my cousin the photos this morning.  She cried.  She couldn't believe the work you all do.  She is so happy, as this is the only photo she has of her father.  Thank you again so much for your help.  I have been showing her other restorations you have done on here.  She is amazed!

Many Thanks
Brenda

Canada Lookup Request / Barrett Family of PEI Canada
« on: Monday 26 September 11 19:52 BST (UK)  »
I am at a real dead end with my Barrett family.  I am looking for information on Isaac Barrett, born 1798 place unknown.  The only other info I have on him is when he married 23 Oct 1828 in Wheatley River, Queens, PEI, Canada, and his death 22 Aug 1830 which just says PEI Canada.  Isaac married Ann Margaret Heartz b.4 Aug 1808, North River, Queens, PEI, Canada.  She married Patrick Duffy after the death of her husband.  The Island Register has a wonderfully detailed history for Margaret.  There is also a nicely detailed history of a Barrett family, which I believe has to be related to mine, but I can't find enough information to prove it.  Isaac and Margaret had two children in the short time they were married.  Both children born Lot 32, Queens, PEI, Canada.  I would be greatful for any help in solving just who this Isaac Barret is.

Thank You in advance

Very nice.  I know the photo was not a very good one.  It was not an easy challenge.  I only wish we had an actual copy of the obit.  Thankyou for your help.  As always you all do a beautiful job here.

I know this is a lot to ask, the photo is so pixelated.  I am trying to restore this for a friend, this is her uncle who was killed in 1944 off the east coast of France.

Thanks
