The -/+ doesn't seem to work.  For example if I put in a birth year 1850 -/+ 5 years, unless I tick the exact box it is ignored, however if I do tick the exact box I get you've looked for X born in 1845. :-[

England / Confused
« on: Saturday 04 November 06 22:12 GMT (UK)  »
I've just got my great grandparents wedding certificate, Florence born in Clapham father Arthur Tunnicliff is on the census and listed as coming from Scotland - I am fairly sure this is the right census record as the address is 92 The Chase - 95 on the census and a Rosina Doyle wittinesses the wedding, but Joseph Tunnicliff whom I think must have been related my Uncle Colin who supplied the information said he a constable in Clapham was Clapham, have I got the relationships wrong?

« on: Saturday 28 October 06 09:00 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find my great great grandmothers maiden name.  I've found a marriage that seems to be the right time, according to when the eldest child was born but wrong place.  How do I get a quartley search instead and if I do find a better match how can I determine whether it's the right one?
