Hi

Why was George in Mileham in 1888?  How do you know that piece of information? How do you know that his grandparents were William & Elizabeth?

I know george was in mileham in 1888 as this is down as his place of residence on my great grandad george's birth certificate.

I dont know for sure that william and elizabeth are his grandparents but through the process of elimination this is the only bell family left that my george could belong to  ;)

Thanks for your help everyone, i'll get his birth certificate ordered and see what i find out

Im trying to find the parents of my ancestor George Bell born around 1853 in Docking, Norfolk but i've hit a bit of a brick wall

Heres what i know for definite about George:
In 1888 he was living in Mileham Norfolk at the time of the birth of his son George Cubit Bell
He married Margaret Brett Perry who was born in 1854

So far i have been unable to find him beyond 1888 and im also unsure of when he was born, any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Vicky

I found him at last, i ordered his birth certificate and it turns out he's actually from norfolk and his fathers name was actually george and his mothers name was margaret! proof that you should never automatically believe what a relative tells you!
