From what i know thomas and mabel had 4 children (including my grandad) i would put their names up but i dont know if they are still alive or not and i dont think we're allowed to put people up here who are still alive are we? so i'll err on the side of caution there...

Im glad its finally been cleared up what his name was though!

i've been told that raymond's grandfather was called Frank but theres no information about his grandmother.  The frank that i think it is was born in Burwash in about 1878, and in the 1901 census he's listed as living in Greenwich, but i can't find any details of him having been married or having children which makes me wonder of he's the right frank  :-\

My grandad raymond sidney pilbeam was born in 1935 in eastbourne, however im having trouble tracking his father and his mother, and grandparents. I've been told by one relative that his fathers name was Thomas and by another that it was Sidney (or Sydney). i believe that his mothers name may have been Mabel White but im not 100% sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks
