Can anyone find this family in 1851? I don't have any other details apart from this census, so I'm not sure of exact birthplaces, etc. Parents possibly deceased, but then I can't say that with confidence either. :-\ Jean and Margaret possibly twins?

William Hume, m, 20, labourer
Margaret Hume, f, 15, -

Mary Hume, f, 11, -

All born outside the county.

Scotland / Kirk Session records at NAS
« on: Sunday 17 January 10 23:23 GMT (UK)  »
Hi everyone,

Has anyone been to the NAS and searched for Kirk Session records? Do I need to contact beforehand to let them know I would like to search the records, or are they available on the day, etc? Along the same lines, if I was looking for one event specifically in a parish, is it okay to request another parish's on the same day and browse through them? Just would be useful to know before I do visit. :)

« on: Monday 28 December 09 16:47 GMT (UK)  »
Hi everyone,

Can anyone make out the second place name? It appears on a 1959 death certificate. The women in question was South African-born (with Scottish parents) and travelled between the two, so could be either or anywhere else. ;D

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Caulfields - 1920s - Napier Avenue, Fulham
« on: Tuesday 14 July 09 17:05 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

I am looking for an Agnes Caulfield who was born around 1901. I don't know where, but I can't find a [likely] birth registration for her in England, Wales or Scotland. Her father was a Patrick Caulfield, a carpenter. He was seemingly still alive in 1927 when Agnes married. Agnes married John Harry Wale in Fulham district, and at that time she was a domestic cook staying at 47 Napier Avenue. John and Agnes went on to have a few children (some of whom may still be alive) but I believe they may have split around the 1940s. I have been unable to find a death registration for Agnes, but John died 1976 in Colchester.

Any help I can get with this family would be much appreciated.

The Common Room / Ancestry One World Tree look up
« on: Monday 20 April 09 16:10 BST (UK)  »
Hi, :)

If anyone could help me, that would be great.

I'm looking to get in touch with an Ancestry member, but don't have a full subscription myself so I'm not able to. They have uploaded the family tree of John Kelly and Fannie Ann Moore. There are several children listed, but I'm interested in Rebecca, a daughter born 1892 and died 1929. She was great-grandmother.

If someone could send a message with either a link to this thread or my e-mail address, which I could pass on through PM, it would really help! Really eager to find out who it is and how they are connected to me. ;D

Thanks,
hume
