What am I doing wrong???

I am reasonably new to rootschat but from the time I started when I logged on and clicked 'show unread posts since last visit' it showed me things that had been posted since I logged out previously, but now it shows nothing and just gives me the opportunity to view all unread posts.

Thats ok Casalguidi,

I ought to use it I have never tried the advanced searches etc so perhaps now is a good time to practice.

I am looking for Gertrude Feaver bn Dec qtr 1883 Brighton. Her father is William James Feaver as per her marriage in 1910, West Ham.

Thank you for that web page, I'd had it when looking for Ebenezer but didn't save it then couldn't find it again. A couple of them could be promising so I'll investigate.

Hi

I am looking for the death of Gertrude Marshall who was born c1884 in England but I believe she emigrated to Canada with her husband Ebenezer after her marriage in 1910. Ebenezer died in 1948 in New Westminster but I have no idea what happened to Gertrude.

Thanks for coming back to me, I think you are right as the Richard I have was bn c1820

1841 census
HO107/510/f3/p5
John Pickles age 50 Cotton weaver
Sarah age 45
Ann age 20
Mitchell age 20
Richard age 20
Hannah age 15
William age 11
Susannah age 5

All except Sarah bn in County-it has been altered against hers so not sure.
I believe she married in Colne (Sarah Mitchel)

I think I have found William in 1851 (A lodger) and I have him on all other census but only have the rest of the family in 1841.
