Essex Completed Lookup Requests / Re: Witham Marriages 1847
« on: Saturday 08 September 07 19:09 BST (UK)  »
Hello,
To the best of my knowledge, Sarah Drain did not have a brother William. The only William and Sarah Drain I can find as a couple both on the 1851/61 census are not from the right part of Essex.

Many thanks anyway,

Pat

Many thanks for doing this, I have a  contact who insist she is 1861 but I can find no trace of this Louisa at all.

I think 1856 sounds more likey

Thanks very much for the information re the Musuem, I will look into that. I have seen the report on Job and his VC. I just remember him. As a child I was taken to Barking to see him and my Grt Aunt Pat.

When I read what he had done I cried ( isn't that silly ). He,s the first ' dead body' I have found that I actually remember.

Will let you know how I get on.

Many thanks
Pat
