I wonder does anyone recognise this address from 1885
Greenbrae Loaning. Greenbrae. this address was given on John Sewell birth cert. 24 12 1885 but I cant find much about it was it a farm I am trying to trace our great Grandmothers family she was Mary Douglas b 1834 no marriage cert to john Sewell approx. 1852 pos.carlisle Cumberland ever found 5 generations of Johns does not  help

Try South shields Museum they may know where the plaque is, its on Ocean Road and they do have a website and you could send them an e mail

Hi Maisie I was the one who was looking for info on James Douglas also his wife Ann Douglas who both died of cholera the same day December1848 I would be interested in anything you might of found

can anyone help with a look up from the info below

James Douglas at water street 7 /11/1840 age 5 years son of Mrs Douglas widow.
I am tying to see if there is a connection with my Mary Douglas born 1834. is the family still at Water Street in 1841 ? is there a Mary in the family ? what is the name of the Mrs Douglas ? I have looked for a death of possible father but too many

Can anyone help find death certs on S.P.I have had no luck
Ann Douglas formally Smith and husband James Douglas both died from cholera in December 1848 does anyone know if death certs were issued for Cholera victims .I know they both died within hours of each other as i have seen the report
