doubt thank you for your info, i am really pleased someone took the time and trouble to answer my question i dout if i will still be around in a year or so.i used to travel over to ireland quite oftenbut since my illness haven't been able to travel very far,still i am leaving this for my grand son maybe one day he will be able to sort it out for himself he is only four now maybe by the time he gets old enough, they will have the census on line i personally think it is a ploy and a very profitable one thank you Kate and all my best wishes to you and yours . john

i have a record of bella clarke in the parish of insharky lived in the village of kircubbin it states she was unmarried and had several childern.one named gaw. she was my grandmother.the other childern were all kellys. they were r.c. ???you can e.mail me on (*)  best regards john

would some kind person please do a lookup of the 1901 census of dunsfort co down.i am looking for malcolm and bridget smyth they were married in dunsfort r.c church in august 1896, they had a daughter born that year named rosina margaret smyth. bridget maiden name [ savage] three years earlier was living in cumberland england. on getting married thier place of residence was down as chappeltown ardglass.i have  posted this many times on lots of message boards so far no one has replied.i am now disabled and can no longer get to ireland. to look it up at proni. and i have been informed that to acess the 1901 census one has to go to belfast. in this day and age,when one can search all the other uk census on line this is awfull and looks like it is done for the benfit of paid researchers  many thanks william john smyth
