Tyrone / Help finding birth

Have just come across a Ancestry match and we think our common ancestor is a Patrick J Gavan who we believe was born in 1925  (death cert) Ireland he married a Nancy Lovering in Devon England in 1952 and had four children ,  I have been told that he came from Tyrone which is in the North of Ireland and unfortunately I dont have access to northern records, if there is any kind person out there who does have access I would be very grateful  if they could have a look for him.

Having just obtained a birth cert for my aunt born 1915 the rank and profession of father says...... Driver R.E. No P.C. M317  now I am guessing this was because he could have been away at war ,  does anyone know what the initials and numbers mean ?

Could anyone tell me if there was ever a nurse directory for nurses working in Clare, I have been told that one of my Ancestors  (Anne Gavin 15 oct 1867-15 july 1949 ) worked as a nurse there and would love to find some kind of evidence.

Galway / Sale of Land

I am trying to trace a Patrick Gavin who was born 18 march 1865 in Doonane, Galway , the story I was told is that he sold some land to a John Fahy  then went to England but with no dates as to when he did this I am struggling trying to find him, I do have his birth cert and his mother was Margaret Kelly and his father Michael Gavin. What I want to know is if he sold the land  would there be any records available to show this, then I would have a date to go by.
