Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Re: Llanblethian Parish Baptism Records - DAVID
« on: Wednesday 11 May 16 15:45 BST (UK)  »
I notice that the Thomas David b. Llanblethian son of Evan and Gwenllian has a sister Mary bap. 5th October 1824. No address or occupation of Evan. Perhaps if you could get Mary's marriage and birthplace from a Census it could give  a clue.
Hope this helps,
Syljun

Hi Paula, I have all the names mentioned in your David family but mainly baptised Penmark or Llantwit Major. If I find a connection to Llanblethian I will get back to you.

I am also puzzled by the suggestion that Evan is the welsh for John as I have both the names of Evan and John for children in the same family.

Thanks majm, I notice there is a death record of a Harry L. Harding 4th Jan 1973 late of Montmorency in the Diamond Valley Leader 16th Jan. 1973. Is there any way I can access this paper to see who he is and possibly see his second christian name. Afraid I haven't a clue as to regions and States of Australia.Could not see anything in the other Court Records.
Thank you again for your time and interest,
Syljun

Thanks majm, Those are the records I purchased. Maybe something will turn up eventually. I have now received info. from another Rootschatter after searching for years of Laurence's Father's death.
Henry Washington Harding, even where he is buried, so can now put him to rest in my Family Research.
Thanks for your time and interest,

Thanks Carol, I rather suspect he was boarding, so obviously did not marry again. Just wondering if the D/Cert would give any more info.
My curiosity sometimes gets me.

Thanks Marienne, the person I am looking for may well have been boarding with them or had died.
This address was given to me of person living there at time of death 1938. I intend to get his D/Cert but wondered if he was living alone or with a family.
My thanks again,
Syljun
