Hi, Could someone look up 1891 and 1901 Census for a Herbert Shaddick b. 1888. Registration of birth says Barton Regis.

A few years one of my brothers died and it was left to another brother to make funeral arrangements. At the service the Minister kept referring to the deceased by the name of the brother who had arranged the funeral. The family kept looking at each other hoping someone would stop him but it was only when the service finished I piped up that the deceased name was Stanley, not Arthur who has been standing listening to you.

Thank you Claire and Paco for your replies. I did wonder about the marriage of Henry Stringer and Sophia Hampton but Henry would have been about 14yrs of age and Sophia 15yrs of age. I wonder if someone could trace this marriage to see if parents consent was given.
I do not think that Henry's baptism was delayed by several years as he was baptised the same day as his brother Joseph 17th December 1787 (twins perhaps). The child Mary before being baptised 28th November 1784 so not such a big gap.
