Shropshire / Beavan/Bevan family of Bucknell
« on: Thursday 04 April 19 04:02 BST (UK)  »
Hello,
I am researching the family of John and Martha Beavan nee Whithall, of Bucknell. Marriage date is 4 Jan 1740 at Bucknell.
Children are Mary born 1741, John 1743, Martha 1744,  William 1747, Benjamin 1749, Elizabeth 1752.
I am also trying to find Mary's marriage, she may have had a son called Thomas born 1783c, married Mary Holyland Cramp in 1811 at Nottinghamshire.
died in May 1839  at Syston, Leicestershire age 56yrs
I have found a Thomas born 1783 Chirbury chr 13 Apr 1783 Chirbury, this is a long way from Bucknell whose mother was Mary Beavan
Beginning to think that I may have the wrong parent for Thomas. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hello,
I would appreciate if someone could help me please,   looking to see  where Niels Nielsen came from
Niels Nielsen married Karen Olufsen  /  Olufsdastter  in 19 Oct   1757  @ Ulbolle Svendborg, I have found Karen parents and silbings, but not where Niels Nielsen came from, What I was thinking  if someone looked up the marriage registar,  perhaps this might tell us where   Niels came from.

Also looking for is a marriage between Niels Nielsen  born c 1734  and a Karen Olufsen  Born c 1739-1740, born ????????  they had their children at Sonder -Bork, Ringkobing. and both are buried there.

Have looked at the map and do know where Svendborg, Ringkobing are placed.
Thanks

Herefordshire / Taylor Family ,Linton by Ross
« on: Tuesday 26 April 16 08:39 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
Can someone help please,
I have reached a brick wall.
William Taylor  born 1817, Linton, parents are Joseph and Sarah Taylor nee Cooper. Christening.

Marriage of William in 1841, states that his parents are Thomas and Celia Taylor nee Fishpool.
Thomas and Celia  had a child  John in 1817, Linton.   Both John and Thomas appear on the 1851 census, Thomas is listed has a widower.living with Joseph and Sarah.

Can't find any  1841 census  for Joseph or Thomas,  but they are both in the 1851 census, as Joseph, born c1781 Oxenhall and Thomas born c1771  Oxenhall,  Looking for parents, for Joseph and Thomas.

Any info much appreciated.

Hi,

Thomas is referred to one of her five children,

Susanna, wife of Samuel Splatt,  the said, William Parker, John Parker, Thomas Parker and George Rudd Parker as tenants in common and not as joint tenants.
