 When the mother (Oliver Douglas) died in 1855 she is down as being buried at Achness.  Also in a legal record a John Douglas who died Apr 10 1909 ... is said to be a shepherd at Achness, Strathnaver,  Kinbrace in the county of Sutherland ... the other person mentioned here was his nephew James Paterson also a shepherd at Achness strathnaver Kinbrace

 In the 1841 under heading (Village, Street, Square, close or court) William Douglas is down as living at Clibrig .... the next house hold is down as living at Grumbeg .. and the next household as living at Achnacbach (a little hard to read)

 The marriage is for William Douglas and Hellen Paterson. In both the 1841 and 51 census the village is given as Clibrig in Farr

On the marriage record under place of residence it appears to read 'Aultnaleard' . Can any body help me find where this would be

 a long shot .. but I have a Mary Scott baptised at Cottingham (north of Hull) her father Wm Scott. She married Wm Stephenson at Cottingham in 1838 and after 5 children came to Canada in 1854

 Maybe not related, but I have a William Stephenson born Doncaster 1814. In 1838 he married Mary Scott at Cottingham (just north of Hull). This family moved to Canada in 1854 ... in the 1851 census he if found at Stoneferry in E Yorks .. wheel wright. Sometimes the name got spelled Stevenson

 this is kind of distant from what you are asking. But .... I have Douglas at Yetholm ... in possibly the early 1800's they went to Sutherlandshire then some to Canada in the 1830's.

 On 'familysearch' there is a Catholic Church baptism (Hungary, Catholic Church Records, 1636 -1895) for Gizella Giesz Aug 1 1887 .. parents Thomas Giesz and Elisabeth Herger in the Hungarian town of Lengyel Tolna County. I have tried to download the image on to here (but no luck). On the page.. it is the top entry for this girl. Could anybody find this ... and attempt to give me a Hungarian - English translation. Sorry I have not been able to down load the image to this request
