Hi Lynn.  This is wonderful - yes, please I would like anything you've got on John and Mary's family.  My line is thro Robert 1751.   I am going down to Kent to meet my new grandaughter on Wednesday so will leave it to you to decide whether it would be better to leave it till next Wed. to send.

Thank you very much for contacting me.  best wishes Yvonne

Dear Anne, thank you SO much for all you efforts on my behalf.  Do think that the baptism for MAE Cable could be the right one.  Great to have her mum's maiden name.  May I ask where you got the info from - might  be very useful in the future.

Re: John and Mary (Tye) they were married 1825 in Tunstall, where they were born.   They spent their married life in Reydon and are buried in St. Margaret's Churchyard.  I have Francis's birth cert. and he was b. Dec. 26 1844 so poor Mary must have become pregnant immediately after with George. (He was a witness at Francis and Mary's wedding - must have felt like twins!)

Do you live near Reydon?  It was my home until 1950

Again, many thanks.  best wishes Yvonne

Hi Sue.  I too. thought this was a likely candidate - the only M.A.E Cable I could find around that time, but the Lowestoft Register Office said 'No, not the right person' and suggested I try the Stowmarket Office, so that is where I am at present.  Isn't it a pain the way women lost their identity on marriage?  Thank you so much for your efforts.  Yvonne

Thank you Sue - I think the Balls are yet another branch of the Meadows Tree.  I know my Grandmother was born to a William Cable and married my granpa Francis Meadows when she was 19, but I can't , at the moment get her birth certificate with both parents and confirmation as to whether it was Benacre or Benhall where she was born.

Hi Carol, yes, we have met before at the beginning of my research, nice to hear of you again.

I'm searching for any info on the MEADOWS family in the Cransford, Tunstall, Southwold and particularly REYDON area of Suffolk.  John b.1801 and Francis 1844 are my gt.granpa and granpa and I would be grateful for any details of their families.

The relevant wives were Mary Tye and Mary Ann Elizabeth Cable, brick wall with the latter, b. c.1850 in Benacre or Benhall to James and ?  Any help would be much appreciated :)
