Hi Paul

Yes, you do have part of the story correct.  Sidney and  Dessie did have three children, John, Kenneth and Dorothy.  Dessie died in the December quarter of 1929, they didn't split up.  She died of TB.

We did know that Dorothy was adopted by an Aunt Mary but we didn't know who she was or how she was related and we didn't know what became of Dorothy.  My mother-in-law does remember an Aunt Mary coming to visit in about 1956ish.

I would love to help you fill in any more gaps so please don't hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards
Jen.

Hi Gillg

I've found your William's baptism.  It's not going to be much help apart from confirming what you already know.

Born 14th September 1808
Baptism 2 October 1808

Parents William & Susan.

Kind regards

Kent Completed Lookup Requests / COMPLETED - 1901 Census - Gillingham
« on: Tuesday 30 June 09 15:18 BST (UK)  »
Hi

I've figured out what I presume to be one household in Gillingham by the surname Summersett.  Would anyone be able to give me the address and Civil Parish that it came under?

James H Summersett   33
Rose Summersett      33
Rose Summersett      12
Alice Summersett      10
Beatrice Summersett   8
James Summersett      6
Jack Summersett      4
May P Summersett      0

I'm trying to locate on CityArk their baptism records ..... needle in a haystack!!!  So if anyone could let me know their address I would be extremely grateful.

Kind regards
English Jen.
