« on: Monday 30 April 07 13:01 BST (UK) »
George Venables Furmston was listed on the 1851 census for Lancashire. He was a visitor and listed as a SADDLER JOURNEYMAN,
From the little knowledge I have This tells me he must have completed an Apprenticeship.
Does any one know if records were kept and if so where do I begin to search?
George was born Jan 1830 in Ellesmere, Father Edward Furmston Mother Mary nee Venables.
He married Ursula Davies in Dec 1851 in the Parish ofLlanllwchaiarn in the Montgomery shire of Wales.
They both immigrated to Australia in Sept 1852.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
