I had two great aunts that I never had the pleasure to meet. Margaret b.in 1895 Cargenbridge near Dumfries, she died14th April 1988,she was married to John Doig b.1897 Forfar d. I think in 1979 Glasgow.Jane b.1886 also Cargenbridge d. In 1976 Mallaig rd. Glasgow she married John James Johnstone b.1886.Any one related to these I would be interested, thanking you stoop.

James kerr was born on the 2nd of january 1885 dumfries his parents were john kerr and margaret wallace he had siblings that I have plenty of history . What I have discovered on ancestry and the mormon free family research site is incorrect regarding james. Families claim that he married an isabel milligan and emigrated to america.checking it out on scotlands people it states that his parents were not as the afore mentioned. Apologies for going on and on but it still leaves me trying to find the elusive james.any help woulbe appreciated,stoop.

The above married margaret kerr born 20th. A August 1895 incargenbridge troqueer kircudbrightshire marriage date1929 in Mary hill glasgow.margaret died on the14th. April 1988. Has anyone any knowledge of this couple did they have children ,their occupations and where they lived. Thank you in anticipation stoop.

John was born in1886 he married jane kerr born 1886 she was my great aunt. Does anyone have any knowledge of children they had, where they lived ,their occupations etc. I believe they married in 1912 jane died on the 25th. Of October 1976 mallaig road glasgow. Thanks in anticipation stoop.

I am facing a brick wall regarding the background of one Margrett edmistone married to robert kerr, they had at least one son lawrence born in 1669 in perth. I also have mention of aniother son james baptised in london in the 1680 a but born in scotland. I have been trying to find out if margrett was born in perth and when and where she was married . Likewise with james ker when and where was he born. Can any one shed any light on these individuals.
