Hi Seeking Marriage of William Davey and Mary who was from Hartfield around 1830. Also Anne Eede and John Knight around 1800 perhaps at Chichester and John Dridge and Anne proberbly East Lavant around 1730. Do these records show the parents? Thankyou

I did not have room to mention it but my brother once heard that my grandmother had a sister Ivy and another called Pansy so your look up is spot on. Brown should have been Brooks on the 1901. No wonder I have been so frustrated. I am just wondering who Thomas aged 15 was living with in 1871?. Lots to think about now. Thanks again and I wish you well Michael

Can any kind person help me witha problem regarding a Thomas Brooks whose father was a John William Brooks, born Clavering Essex,yeast merchant, died late 1881.
In the 1881 census at 163 Bentham Road, South Hackney, London John William appears with his wife Sarah who he married as a Widdower in1853 and two children Alfred, 21 and Kate,15. Thomas was not at home. Thomas had a daughter Ethel born in1888 at Bentham Road. She is my Grandmother. I subsequentlly purchased Thomas's Marriage Certificate, 1882, and it revealed that his marriage to a Emma Benfield showed that he lived at Bentham Road and of full age. No sign in 1901. Kate was born in Shephards house Homerton and Alfred in Bohemia Place Hackney (fom Birth Certificates). thank you for your time, Findo
