Sorry LM. Reporting in. Have had a challenging day at a family members funeral, however it was good to see family we only ever see at funerals and reminisce. I was asked to put together a file of some photos ( mostly black and white) and there were other photo albums there too, so that was lovely and lots of conversations, memories and laughter followed.

We can also see our patient records and test results on the Systmonline page.  Makes interesting reading sometimes! Appointments can be booked through this site, so there's no waiting for someone to answer the phone at busy times.

Ours has this named system too where we can order repeat prescriptions and in theory see the test results but not always. We used to be able to book appts through this too , but post covid they removed this option which is a nuisance and we have to go through their phone triage service with a trained receptionist we’re told, to see if we are allowed to see a nurse who can only take blood, a nurse who can do other things, a nurse practitioner who can prescribe or in theory a gp , however the gp option is never given. You have to see one of the nurse options first who then might then say you have to make an appt with a nurse who is allowed to do x or y and then when you see them three weeks later, they say oh you need an appt with a gp but it’ll be another 3 weeks before they will give you a gp phone appt. It’s not a great system imo.

Our daffodils aren’t even out yet as it’s been too cold ( and wet! ).

Morning all
Dry here this morning though we had some rain last night. I managed to get a bit of tidying and weeding done in the garden yesterday. Loads more to do but I felt better for the tidying.
LM I can’t imagine what the bat mess is like ! Have seen some in a National Trust project up at Seaton Delaval Hall where the actual hall there’s only the walls etc left so there’s no furniture in that part of the building.
