Kent Lookup Requests / Re: Milton-near-Gravesend Burial Records
« on: Monday 30 April 12 15:32 BST (UK)  »
Hi there,

I have the index and registers for Gravesend Cemetary, I have had a look for both children you asked about and there is no entry for either one.

I'll double check on CityArc and see what I can find.

Cheers for that info johnnyboy,

I submitted a question to the National Archives in Washington, D.C. via the web site and have emailed the Denver branch also.

Now it will be interesting who if any come up with something.

Thanks again
John

Can you tell me if you get to view all of the info on FindMyPast that is available on the 1911 Census site or is it different?

Thanks

John

Hi Howard, thanks for the update I'll see if I can get a back issue, although I did get a lot of information from a book called 'Murderous Tyneside' by John J. Edelston I would still like to compare this article.

My cousin survived but those sort of memories never fade.

Thanks

Thanks very much AJ.

Sorry about the late reply have been rather busy and have just built a new PC so am now using that one.

I have passed on the info that you posted above to my cousin and will take you up on your offer of more research if possible? I'll wait for a reply from my cousin and will post again if required.

Thanks again  :)

Hi folks

Are there any places or ways that I can search for my ex father-in-law's time as a German POW in Colorado in WW2?

Atm I know the following

COLORADO Trinidad - WWII German/Italian camp being renovated. Granada - Prowers County - WWII Japanese internment camp Ft. Carson - Along route 115 near Canon City
from http://www.rense.com/general17/statebystate.htm there are also links from many searches but no info that I could see about tracing the camp records, can anyone help please?

Thanks
John

Hi there

If you want more info about the Axons, like I do, the best person to contact is KPM she is quite active here.

She has promised to send me some info about an Arthur R Axon b c.1907 who married an aunt of mine in the Deal, Walmer area.

Best Wishes
John
