Hi Willsmum

I am fairly sure they came from Derby - but their Grandaughter my Gran lived most of her life in Nottinghamshire.

So I'm not going to rule out what you've found.

I'm at a complete stand still not sure where to go next, do you know where I can get info for the Parish records for St Akmunds area from?

Limerick / Re: Hospital Limerick

Hi

I have had no idea what part of the Cementary it is in, it was just this friend of ours who had gone over to look for his Murphy relations.

Not sure what part of Limerick they came from I do know it wasn't the City but a district (hope that makes sense).
My father in law also called William Desmond Guerin was born in Limerick in 1920 and was the middle son of William Desmond Guerin and
Theresa O' Connor.
As well as the 3 boys they also had a daughter called Margaret who died in 1938.
So am assuming that this grave will have him and Margaret in, but its all pure guess work.
According to our friend there is a picture on the Gravestone.

The family are all Roman Catholic so I am assuming (yet again ) that the Cementary where he saw the Grave was connected to the Roman Catholic Church.

Would really grateful if you could help, the problem is we don't see him very often to clarify things.

Hi

Can anybody help please?

A friend of mine has been over to Limerick following up leads for his family tree.
While he was there he went into a Cementary in Hospital in Limerick and he found a grave for
a William Desmond Guerin and his daughter .

I think this William Desmond Guerin his my Husbands Grandfather or Gt Grandfather.
On the Gravestone was a picture of the said man and he apparently is the spitting image of my Husband.

Is there any one out there who would be so kind as to go to the Cementary and send me a picture of the Gravestone.

If anyone can help I would really grateful.
