Thankyou to all the fantastic people for your work. Any improvements from the original are great.
I along with members of the B&DHS are very grateful. We have the original but it's nice to have a better copy for research purposes.

Hi,
I am a member of the Broadford Historical Society and came across this photo of the level crossing at Broadford which looks like it was taken in the 1930's. The railway line is the main line between Melbourne and Sydney.
The crossing has long gone.
The photo is in pretty poor condition so I am hoping the wonderful people at RootsChat can work their magic.
Any improvement would be fantastic.

Just noticed your post.
My husband is a descendent of Samuel Pate Jones (3rd son of Samuel & Sarah Pate) who ended up in Sydney.
I have some information on that family but don't have much on Samuel & Sarah.
I look forwarded to hearing from you and hopefully finding out more about the Liverpool Jones.

Hi All,
Thankyou to all of you who restored the photo.
I am a member of the Broadford Historical Society and a long time resident brought in a collection of family photos of which this was one of them. I said that I knew of a place where photos could be restored and I know that he will be most grateful.
You are all amazing and on behalf of the grandson of Miss Peel I thank you all.

Somone (actually a g grandaughter) has put up a tree on Ancestry where they have the father of Ronald Frederick Gibson as Albert Smith born 1897 in Manchester, England. Their source is the 1901 Census where he is listed as the son residing in Cheshire.

There is no other information.
I have tried to get in contact with this person but to date have had no reply.
Interestingly, Ronald Frederick Gibson's second wife is still alive and living in Kew, Victoria I believe. Hopefully I can get in touch with her and maybe get some answers.
