Thanks for that. I didnt realise civil registration in ireland was later than 1861. How frustrating. All i know is on the census in england and on the marriage records in india it says drogheda dublin everytime so i was not aware that it wasnt really in or around dublin. Sorry . All i have is drogheda. And i have no clue as to denomination. Think catholic. Well michael o'sullivan , the father of the bride was definately catholic, as when he returned from being a surgeon in india he came to live with the nuns in northampton somehwere. So i am presuming they were both catholic families.
