Dumfriesshire / Need help for marriage lookup.PLEASE!

Could someone please help me find the marriage of James or William Wilson{Farmer} and Janet or Jane Dargarvel.Their daughter Jane Wilson was born 9/1/1851 at Sanguer.I am not sure if her fathers name was James or William.On Janes marriage certificate for 1876 to George Lammie her father is called James Wilson but on Janes death certificate in 1933 her father is called William Wilson.I have tried Scotlands people but there were too many matches.i could have had Janes mothers maiden name spelt a different way to the way Scotlands people have it spelt.Any help really appreciated.I have no idea where or who James/William Wilson and Janet Dargarvels parents were or where they were born.Thankyou.Anne.

Would anyone know the details of the marriage of Alexander Smith and Margaret Kennedy in Dundee about 1850.Their first child Alexander was born c1852.Alexander was a seaman.I would like to know who his parents were.Alexanders wife was Margaret Kennedy daughter of William Kennedy and Margaret Gowans.Thankyou for any help.Anne.

Would anyone have the burial records for Duns Cemetery.I am looking for the burial details of John Morrison died in 1876/1886 at Duns lodging house Bridge End,Duns.I dont know if John will have a headstone as he had been abandoned by his family,someone told me that the lodging house at Duns was a similar place to a poorhouse.Johns wife was called Mary Connally.Thankyou for any help.Anne.

Would someone be able to look up a marriage for Thomas Renwick born St Marys Carlisle about 1770 and his wife Jane Gordon born Morpeth Northumberland about the same time.I think they would have probably married late 1700s.I know they married in Carlise as thats where their children were born.Thankyou for any help.Anne.

One of my ancestors is on all the census records as being born at Holystone Northumberland,thats where there is a problem,there are 2 Holystones in Northumberland,i havent got her maiden name either,and by the time the first census was taken for Alnwick where she lived with her husband and family she was married.So 2 questions,how do i find which Holystone she was born in and how will i find her maiden name.I think its possible she was born in the Holystone near Rothbury because she married someone from Carlisle St Mary and lived and died in Alnwick.Hope someone can help.Anne.

My ancestors Renwicks came from St Marys Carlisle.I have been to the IGI indexes for Cumberland and St Marys isnt there.Am i looking in the right place.
I know that Braithwaite Caldewgate Cunmersdale Fisher Street Middlesceugh Rickergate and Scotch Street all lie in this parish but i cant find them on the IGI either.I am looking for info before the 1841 census,ie,births marriages and deaths.Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong.Also while talking about Renwicks,my ancestor was a weaver by trade,he met and married a lady from Holystone near Rothbury Northumberland but ended up liveing in Alnwick Northumberland where all their children were born,as far as i know there were no mills at Alnwick,i dont know where they married,maybe Mabel was in service at Cumbria or maybe Thomas met her while he was working near Holystone,anyway i cant find any marriage details at the archives as i dont know where to look.Can anyone help with this mess.I think i have the right Thomas Renwick regarding his birth as he is the only Thomas Renwick that fits the age for 1841 census.Thomas Renwick christend 17/5/1789 Carlisle St Mary.Parents Thomas Renwick and Jane Gordon.All i know is Thomas married a lady called Mabel from Holystone near Rothbury Northumberland,i have no maiden name for her.If anyone can help i would be very grateful especially regarding searches for St Marys Carlisle.Anne.

I wonder if someone can do a marriage lookup for Frederick Wager and Margaret Pittendreigh,they would have been married around 1910 in Newcastle or Hartlepool,thier daughter Frances Wager was born at Westgate Road Newcastle in March 1912.I have searched Ancestry twice between the years 1909 and 1913 but no luck.This is a friends family and he said they were married because he can remember seeing a wedding photo when he was a young boy,he thinks the date was 1911,he cant find the photo but is sure it was his mothers parents Frederick and Margaret Wager.Thankyou for any help.Anne.
