Thanks Dee -

I wonder where they ended up ?????? I only assumed SA first ahead of the other East States as that is where Mrs Mary Cleavers son-in-law Charles Hole Duffield moved to for a period of time with his children following the death of Marys daughter in 1865 (Charles's wife). I have loads of info on that side of the family but I was just wondering what happened to Mrs Mary Cleaver & the other girls

Sorry JM

I really should stop abbreviating my words with number - geez thats what u get for having 22/19 & 16 yr old children you start to type like they do lol.

Just simply requesting if someone is able to lookup in the SA bdms Indexes for me etc. I have the SA discs but they are not loading onto my computer at the moment - an error message comes up.

Sorry I have no idea on the maiden name of Mary - she was born supposedly circa 1805 in Hertfordshire England.

Thanks Troods

Hi everyone -

I am trying 2 track down what happened to my Mrs Mary Cleaver & children after the death of her husband John in WA in 1849.

I found some info online last night relating 2 an entry 4 John in the Bicenntianial Directory Of WA in which it states that Mrs Cleaver, son John & daughters Martha & Fanny departed 10/3/1853 onboard the Queen Of Netherlands for the East States.

Unfortunately 4 the life of me I did not bookmark this site. I have looked 4 any bdms in WA relating 2 any of the missing family & have come up with zilch.

I googled the ships name & found that the ship arrived in SA in the year 1853.

If possible could someone lookup in the SA Indexes 4 me please. My discs unfortunately r not working - grrrrrrr.

Many thanks Troods
