Hello Again

Can anyone please help me to find out any further birth, death or ancestry details in relatioin to the Thomas Ginns (born abt 1785) and Sarah Marson (born abt 1778).  They were married at St Mary's Hinckley on 18/01/1801.

I do not know Thomas' parents although believe that Sarah's parents were Joseph and Hannah Marson. 

I believe that Sarah was christened at St Mary's on 28/07/1779 although i do not know when she died.

I do not know when or if Thomas was christened although believe that he died 06/03/1838 in Hinckley.

Their children included Ann (19/05/1803), Mary (21/02/1811), Thomas (19/04/1814), Samuel (29/12/1819) and Edward born abt 1826.  There is a big gap between Ann and Mary so there may be other children.

If anyone can help me with anymore information i would be very grateful.

I am researching an Elizabeth Smith, born around 1811 in Gilmorton Leicestershire.

I am a bit confused as i have duplicate christening information for Elizabeth and her siblings, almost suggesting there are two families both with the same parent names.  This would be suprising as Gilmorton is only a small village.

This is the christening information i have - all have parents William and Elizabeth Smith and all from Gilmorton

Could there be two families or is i possible that Elizabeth Mary and Sarah were re-christened?

I only have one marriage date for a William and Elizabeth Smith (nee Pickering) and that is 03/08/1803.  Is there another to indicate that there are in deed two familes.

Furthermore, i had only found reference to one Elizabeth Smith on the census' where she had moved to lutterworth having married a William Webb - but that's not to say that i've not missed something!

This may be one for Mike who is very good at looking at these older entries but if anybody can help me clear up this mystery i would be most appreciative.

I have now got a copy of the death certificate of Herbert William Holloway, born 1st January 1885 in Leamington Spa.

He died on 26th November 1911 at Great Malvern Railway, Lenches Bridge, Pensnett, Kingswinford, Staffordshire.  His death certificate states that he died from a 'fracture of the base of the skull and laceration of the jugular vein - no evidence as to how such injuries were caused'.  An inquest was held with the Certificate received from Allen Stokes coroner for South West Staffs on November 26th 1911.

Rumour has it that he was murdered, which is suggested in the certificate, and i wondered if anyone could find any newspaper articles or reports from the time or be able to advise how i could get any further information?

Hello i am trying to find out some information about the parents of Elizabeth Hartley, born abt 1863, in Kingswinford.  I believe that they were Henry Hartley (born abt 1816 in Shropshire) and Ann Hartley (born abt 1836 in Bewley) although i have no further information about them.

Can anyone help me to find out about them and their parents?

I am struggling to find records in relation to the above.

What i do know is that she was born 6th September 1886 in Tansey Green, Pensnett, Kingswinford and died 20th July 1963 in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

Emma Jane married Herbert Holloway in 1905 i think.  My early research indicates that her maiden name may have been Cotterill although i am not certain.  I would therefore like to find the 1901 and 1891 census records for her to identify her parents and to help identify her grandparents.

Can anyone help me please?
