In the 1901 census my family Crossley (appears Crowley) in the census are living at 28 Clare Avenue....Is this the correct name or spelling coz I can't find anything about it? Regards, Gillian

Can anyone help me find the parents of James Henry Skipsey, born 1855 Leeds. I have him in the 1861-1901 census, but can't trace him before that.

He married  Priscilla Thomas in 1874, Leeds and had 6 children; John William 1877, James 1882, Albert 1884, Maud (Maude) 1891, Tom 1893, Florry 1879 and Henrietta 1875 (in case the naming pattern can help)

My only guess is Ann Skipsey, born 1813 South Kilvington...but can't seem to piece it all together. :-\

Hi, I'm looking for any information on Harold Crossley (my grandfather) b. 1895, Leeds and his company "Tillotson's Removal and Storage", which was situated at 210 North Street and appears to have been a Bus company. If anyone can help, thanks..
