I am not sure that is 7JB.  often there is written duration of illness the 7 could perhaps be days months or years.  I must say it does not look like any of these.!!

I don't know if you have seen the tree on ancestry or even if it is your own but it does show a bit more information.
William Meredith married Evelyn Muriel Butcher.  He was born 12/4/1911 and died in Strathfield Australia 5/9/1990.

Thank you  pampoen   for addresses. One of them showed what I think was the first edition, if so it showed a feature of Whiting53 's Mother in law. A glamorous blond  !  very daring in those times.

Unfortunately I have been unable to find anywhere that holds archives of Outspan . I feel sure there must be some, if only I could find where.
It would be interesting for you to find a photograph of the first edition depicting your Mother-in-Law.
I will keep trying.
