I wonder whether anyone could help me to find out more about Margaret to enable me to establish a link with her being in Shrewsbury in Shropshire earlier in her life?
I have found Margaret born in Blackburn in c1879, but no specific DOB. She married Ernest Charles Whittick (b. 5 June 1877) in Blackburn (again no date known). They had two children Henry John (b. 4 Dec 1909) and Kenneth Watson (b. 5 Mar 1915) but i don't know their POB.
The detail that alerted me to a possible Midlands link was that Ernest died in WOLVERHAMPTON, Staffs on 24 Jun 1926. I haven't been able to find a death date/place for Margaret.
You may wonder why i am trying to find a link with Shropshire? Well, my Nan Dorothy Richardson was born in Wellington Workhouse on 28 Apr 1908, and Margaret Richardson is given as her Mothers name but no Fathers name is given on the Birth cert. My Nan grew up there, never knowing her parents and left aged 13.
I found a Margaret Richardson in the 1901 census working as a domestic servant in a public house in Shrewsbury and her given age ties in with 1879/1880.
I have tried everything without success to trace Margaret thereafter, and a couple of lovely Rootschat people have tried in the Shropshire County section too.
I only came across the above information last night from the Family search website, so i wondered whether this was actually her, although i know it is a VERY long shot.
Please can anyone help me any further? Thanks for your time.

I am trying to find more info about Benns parents Isaac Dawson (b. 1843 in Wasdale) and Mary ? (b. 1832 but not sure where?). They married in Kendal in 1865, and that is all i can find out. I can't get a trace on Isaac in The census returns at all. The only ones that come up are in other areas of the Country and i know for a fact that he never left the local area.
I am now at a stage where i am completely stuck on this line of the family, so any help would be MUCH appreciated.

I am trying (unsuccessfully so far!), to trace Elizabeth MClory who was born c1855 in Newry Co. Down. I don't have any other info on her other than she married Peter McPoland (b. c1846) who was from Lisburn Co.Antrim, and they moved to Barrow-in-Furness sometime in the 1880's/1890's. They had 6 children and i think some were born in Ireland. (Mary Ann, b. c1875, Peter, b. 1878, Patrick, b. c1880, James, b. c1882, Hugh, b. c1884, and Margaret b. c1889).
ANY information you can help me with regarding the McClory's OR/AND the McPoland's would be fantastic as i am at a complete dead end now.

I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on Charlottes parents for me?
She was actually born in Tipton, West Mids, but was married in Kerry, Newtown, Wales to Thomas Briscoe in 1867.
Her Father was John Evans a Farmer b. c1810. I don't have his place of Birth and i don't have any info at all about his wife/ Charlottes Mother.
John had a Sister Ann (b. 1804) who married a Jones, and a Brother Richard (b. 1806).
That's all i know i'm afraid, so sorry it's not a lot to go on.
