:'( Toby, I'm mortified. I was just going through my Inbox to weed out old and unwanted e-mails when I came across the link to your reply to my above topic back at the beginning of January. So sorry.

Anyway, concerning the BROWN family. Could you please give me an address for them, and where they were born.

The PERRY family information I already have, thanks. But what I need is a marriage for John PERRY and Sarah KEEN probably around 1875 in Oxford.

Thanks again,
OzzieJoan

Monmouthshire / Re: Welsh Honeycomb Blanket

Thanks for everyone's help on this but I've had to give it up as a bad job and consider that the blanket I was given 40 years ago is now an heirloom  ;D

Will have to think of something else for the gift.

Hello Eileen  :D
Thanks, I'll go look at his site.  Unfortunately, the Out of Eden site's blanket was just an acrylic one. What I'm looking for is pure wool and very thick because of the way it is woven. Could be the company are no longer in business.
I'm trying one of the smileys again, I don't seem to be able to get them to work.

:DMany thanks Butterfly for that information. When I searched Google I only managed to get E-Bay and a list of Chinese manufacturers. I will now be able to chekc out Out of Eden.

Do you have any POWELLs from Llantrissent, Merthyr Cynog or Crickardarn?

Regards,

For those of us who are still in the dark ages, with dial-up and slow processors, would it be possible to have a spot on the Home Page which tells if anyone is presently using Chatterbox, please?

Monmouthshire / Welsh Honeycomb Blanket

I know this is non-gen. but please can anyone help me?

My husband's family are Monmouthshire POWELLs and when he and I were married 43 years ago his auntie gave us a wonderful honeycomb blanket as a gift - and I still use it!  Now that Brian's niece is to be married he wants to give her something similar. Does anyone know where they are made, please?

Thank you so much Heather. It really looks as though the GREGORYs living with the SEDDONs are the ones I'm after as another brother of Charles was born Dob's Brow.
