This is him in his home guard uniform at 14 years old and no he has not got a spike through his brain, he is stood in front of the clothes line post, if it could be removed that would be nice

Hi Guys

Not much of a picture I'm afraid, but if anyone can clean it up and make it a little clearer I would appreciate it

Thanks.

It is the first of more than 30 pics I would like to use in a book about Clifford Woods, but they all seem a bit grim compared to the pics you guys have sorted out, if I become a big pain in the A**e please tell me, anybody who wishes to add colour to any of the pics please feel free, I will post another separate

This is not actually Liz, I am comming at you with an inquiry, My mum showed me the picture that Liz sent in of my Mother and Stepfather's wedding day, I have to say a great big thank you, although she is still crying she loves it. The inquiry is I am writting a book on Clifford's life and albeit it can now be concluded, it contains 30 or more old photo's, I am not asking for you experts to restore all these photo's although they are in need of something, just to part with the name of the software you are using to do these amazing makeovers, and I do realize it is as much about expertise as it is software, but hopefully I will learn how to use it.
Thank you for your time

Carolyn
Thank you very much, I printed them all and took them around this morning, not sure it was a good idea, Pearl said that the colour of the dress is  identical to the actual wedding dress which she then took out of the wardrobe, and it was spot on (too small for her now though) and she was still blubbering when I left her, she cried when she saw them and probably is still crying, but she was absolutely delighted with them. I think it was the best £10 I have ever spent, it is great to make someones day, and it is all down to you guys, Irene, Smurf and Carolyn,
Thank you! Thank you! Thankyou!

Hello
This is my very first post on rootschat so if I do something wrong please forgive me.
This is a photo of Pearl & Cliff in 1958, both survivors of tragic accidents which resulted in their respective partners deaths, finding happiness again. This is the only surviving photograph of that day, Clifford died in June of this year, leaving Pearl to sit and stare at this old photo for hours on end, they were very happy together, I go in and help with her cleaning and things, and when a Friend showed me what you can do with old photos I was amazed so I managed to glean most of the details from Pearl about the clothes etc
The dress is sky blue with a slightly darker blue motif on the neck and chest. Her hair was dark brown and her eyes are hazel, the shoes were white and her gloves was the same blue as the motif the flowers were an assortment of Fressia including white and lilac,. Clifford was wearing a Navy blue pin stripe suit white shirt and light blue tie, a white flower and black shiny shoes his hair was Brylcreamed blond. The door in the background was a creamy beige with white surround. If I am asking to much I am sorry if it is not possible to do a colour photo could anyone improve on the black and white one.
This would be really kind of you all, I am sorry to keep on but I am a little nervous. Thank you

Liz
