Its simple just click on my user name and it will take you to the PM at the bottom.  I have sent you a personal message which should show up on the top right hand corner. That way we can go off board.

Okay sorry about that - do another message Dennis and then it will activate your PM. I come from Erdington too, so you must have lived in Gravelly Hill. Bob is the one I had little contact with Charles and Bernard the lawyers were the ones I had most to do with and their Mum who was like a 2nd mother to me.

Warwickshire / Re: The Acorn Public House, Aston.

There was and I think still is (though have not been back since 1991) an Acorn Public House in Erdington on the High Street, that would be under Aston. The pubs in Erdington are the Cross Keys, the Lyndhurst built in the 1950's on the new estate, the Acorn, Rose and Crown and the Swan. Hmm must have had a mispent youth ;-)

Warwickshire / Wareing Family

looking for any of the Wareing Family who have connection to Charles, Bernard, Maurice, or Robert,  they are all deceased Charles Hodson Wareing born 28 June 1909 died 17 Feb 1999, Bernard born 1908? died 1980's? Marurice Vincent born 8 July 1916 died 31 Jan 1944, also Robert Jospeh born 8 July 1915 died 5 April 2005. Bernard and Charles where batchelors and lawyers in Birmingham. Parents were Charles Arthur Wareing and Jane Ellen Wareing nee Hodson.  Believe that there may be a Grandson of Maurice Vincent in the Malvern area still alive.

Any help would be appreciated.

New Zealand Completed Requests / Re: Auckland Archives Lookup 1979 Probate

This may help you with your search my grandfather born about the same time as yours was Aylmer (pronounced Alma) it was quite a common boys name of the time. I had one heck of a job to get the right spelling on my Mums death cert they could not get it right. So just a possible lead. Coincidence but we are "Hutchinson" and come from UK.
